Rules are fun to break

When I say "don't do this", or "do this", I should probably say "don't do this on accident". But, if you do it on purpose, that's another story. you can pretty much do anything you want if you do it on purpose. Here I have lots of tangents and a collar that breaks the rule I just gave.

  3. Hey Rad, nice addition. At school we sometimes have discussions about following/ breaking the rules, I'll use your words next time.

I wonder if you could show some process of pics like this? I don't have a cintiq and I wonder how I could "build-up" an illustration like this (or like most of the stuff over on your other great blog) beginning with a scanned in pencil sketch. Thanx!

  6. Raul, thanks, I'm glad you like the blog.

de app: I just block in one big shape for the character on a separate layer. Then, you can lock the layer so you don't draw outside the lines.

    Cesare: Thanks

Balbi: I'll try to do one next.
